Question: I am running a web server on the platform I want to run HiplinkXS on. Is that a problem?

Response: The HiplinkXS-installer will install and configure an Apache web server during the installation of HiplinkXS. If you are running IIS or any other web server on the computer, HiplinkXS and Apache will not conflict with that, as long as the web server is not running on Apache already. You also have to make sure to select a port that is not currently used on that computer (our default value 8000 is usually not occupied).

If you run Apache on the computer already, there will be a conflict. You must either uninstall Apache or choose another computer.
