Question: I want to move my HiplinkXS installation from one computer to another – with a different Operating System.

Response: The license key you received with your HiplinkXS version is limited to your computer platform. You need to obtain a license for the new computer. You then can run the installer for the new Operating System on the new computer and install HiplinkXS normally. As the setting files are in binary format, the files cannot be transferred from one OS to another. You have to run the “ieutility.exe” (a script that you find in the bin directory) to transfer all configuration files into text format. Then you can transfer the files to the new OS and run “ieutility.exe” in import mode.
