Question: How do I set up the monitor?

Response: Before you can start the monitor service, you have to configure it. In settings/monitor you will find a screen where you have to enter the email address that shall receive the notification and the email server. The email server doesn't have to run on the same computer. You can specify it by hostname or IP address.

On the same screen you can also configure the events you want to receive notification for:

            Number of failed messages within one hour.

            Number of completed messages within one hour.

            Maximum message idle time.

The monitor is also responsible for cleaning the failed and completed queues. You can specify here after which time messages can be deleted, or what the maximum size of that queue is allowed to be.

The monitor can be configured to automatically export reports. You can specify the target directory here and the frequency of exports.
